the shape of the handle is based on construction of the rose-joints. The plastic roses are connected by standart measure pair of screws, but they can turn with the die-cast metal handle. The handle is mounted to rose by sliding it into groove on the top of the rose. This kind of joint enables to leave the limits of the classic, axis+perpenducular line forms.

this solution eliminates the need of rose cover piece. also, there is no need of screw joint to connect handles to roses. neverthless, there is no left and right handle, in fact it reduces the production costs.
