my design "BE DIFFERENT" is about a new way to open doors. one way to get peoples attention in a world which is full of information, is to come up with something unusual in a usual context.
The door itself is routed in a shape of your choice. the door opener and the door handles are connected via a steel rope. so if you pull the door handle, the door opens. because of safety, privacy and design reasons, everything is covered with a glass panel. either lucent or frosted glass. to press the concept in a few words: it´s unusual, funny, producable, usable, complicated in a simple way and most important DIFFERENT !!!
