my project started with the idea of a very simple object that would draw the atention of the people but wouldn´t being so protagonic. i based my idea in nature, particularly in sugar canes, which provide us sugar, that is the main source of energy that we have and need, and lets us start everyday, but not only that, this plant can keep growing after it's been cut to use it so it reminds of everlastingness.
this is why i made a door handle that reminds of a sugar cane but also is very simple and has very few parts, combining two materials, stainless steel and wood. having the wood in the part where the user manipulates it to open the door.
