designer's own words:

hex-door
a door handle very simple and elegant inspired by the hex key or allen key-wrench.
a tool used to screw and unscrew, open and close mechanical parts becomes the handle to open and close a door. the handle retains its mechanical aesthetic and functional beauty strictly linked to the object that inspired it, the understanding of the use is instinctive and immediate in its simplicity.
at the same time the hexagonal section and its bend express a sophisticated elegance made of reflections and cut surfaces; please note the diagonal cuts at the door handle’s end made in a contrasting finish (satin / polished). the insertion with the door mechanism it’s resolved with a very simple cylindrical shape containing the standard required slotted spindle and mono directional spring.
