searching for a better door handle we started different experiments how a door can be opened by turning, pushing and pulling. scrutinizing the movement of the grabbing hand opening a door we have minimized the volume of a standard handle. the remaining material expresses how to use the handle.

based on the discovered door handle we developed a range of door and window handles, keys, hooks, push and pull handles. all products of the shell series are following that typical organic shape.
