the main characteristic of the contemporary architecture that i noticed is how light plays with the space. i tried to do the same thing with the door handle, that is creating a clean shape on which light can play with shadows. the door handle is inspired by the origami paper folding art because it reminded me of the contemporary architecture. due to the fact that the shape has many edges and angles, the alloy metal structure of the door handle is coated with smooth white rubber for safety reasons, and also to give it the smooth, paper-like look.
