Toda

Toda by hugo jose hugo jose carlos carrillo from mexico

designer's own words:

toda is a door handle based in the common form of a handle in mexico. the difference is that a common circular shape handle and this is that the circular one spins, or turn around the entire handle . in this one consist in two external parts: the gray body and the red ring.
the red ring turns around, is the only external part that has movement. the body doesn't moves. so when you come to open de door you take the handle by the red ring and turn it to open the door. the mechanism is made by three parts . the body, the red ring, and the column that is a cylinder inside the the body and connected to the ring. the top of the body has another smaller cylinder that allows the bigger cylinder to turns. the bigger cylinder is connected to the bolt. I propose that the gray body can be made of stainless steel, or another metal. and the red ring I propose that it can be made of marble or acrylic. thank you. hugoca
