Information has become very accessible yet we still find the need to have libraries and connection with tangible media. Intelligent devices can be more powerful tools to enforce knowledge. While the Untitled Bookshelf has infinite number of books that can be changed over time, it connects the power of immaterial information to physical objects. The Knowledge Bookmark records and provides feedback to the reader of their reading over long periods as a type of knowledge service. It connects with the Library to transfer the information for a home base knowledge, and connects with other bookmarks to share.

As we build a more intelligent environment, slowly we can eliminate paper books and landfill. Books will become more of a knowledge service than a cut tree. We will continue to have tangible goods, while our tools become more and more verstile, better suiting our needs and yet sustainable, to meet the demands of the 21 century. A single book from the Intelligent bookshelf can hold infinate number of books within itself, It is up to us which books we choose to display in our living room.
