There are tree kinds of creatures I represented, ones that live in my imagination, ones that live for real, but are on the edge to disappear from the face of the Earth, like Grizzly or African wild dog, or Darwin’s fox. And there are the ones that were recently walking on Earth, but now they can only live in our imagination. My poster is dedicated to all the living creatures in the world, and those that do not exist anymore, like some recently extinct animals, or dinosaurs. Diversity of life will always remain one of the greatest inspirations for my work as an illustrator. And 50 000 grey dots per year is quite a depressing picture, isn’t it?
