level presents the world's first invisible smart lock designed by feiz design studio

‘it is not often that you get asked to design an invisible product… a product that once installed hides nicely out of sight and does its duty humbly and effectively,‘ but this was exactly the brief presented to feiz design studio by ceo john martin and cto ken goto of level home. the two visionaries wanted the designers to give form, define its user experience and manifest the product design of the level lock, the world’s first invisible smart lock. 

designed to install inside a door in minutes, the lock makes the existing lock smart, while keeping the same bezels and deadbolts. feiz design studio’s result was a high quality, durable tool-like device that replaces the internal deadbolt lock mechanism, allowing users to preserve their original fittings while experiencing the conveniences of a smart lock. ‘we loved the challenge and the rest is history!’, exclaimed designer khodi feiz. 

the smart lock uses the user’s phone to lock and unlock the door, share access, and always know who’s coming and going. level lock’s quality craftsmanship and design demonstrates a level of detail unparalleled to other smart locks in the market. its unique puzzle piece interface ensures a secure fit in the door and its battery is creatively hidden inside the bolt to make the occasional battery change simple.
