Guide for the name change to Korean names in multi cultural families_IReumIIUi by ha rim kim from korea

designer's own words:

Korea is in the middle of globalization. There are various people and various cultures in Korea. 1.7% of Korean population is foreigners. International marriage immigrants, who came to Korea with “Korean dreams”, are rapidly increasing; however, the speed of awareness improvement on them is so slow. Korean population is decreasing because of low birth rate. We realized that international marriage immigrants are very important assets of the country and thought that changing their foreign names to Korean names would be the first step to recognize them as real Koreans.
This is to give them a practical help in their name-change process. It guides them on the procedures, required documents and related supporting agencies. It would help them to have Korean names voluntarily.
We hope to see the communities which warmly accommodate international marriage immigrants and multi-cultural families with children.
