[Gates] for the City of Seoul//

This project attempts to embody the life and soul of an urban collective through newly proposed public spaces located in Seoul. Based on a research of the long-treasured monument of Seoul, Sungnyemum (the South Gate), the project aims to recreate the monumentality, urban harmony, spatial sensibility, and historical memory that the South Gate had provided – this time for the much-expanded contemporary city of Seoul.
