VTN architects completes a beachfront hotel in vietnam with green balconies

VTN architects (vo trong nghia architects) has completed a beachfront hotel in da nang, a coastal city in central vietnam popular with tourists. located on vo nguyen giap road, and directly facing my khe beach, the ‘chic-land hotel’ offers guests sea views, bright sunlight, cool breezes, and fresh air. rising to a total height of 72 meters (236 ft), the building’s façades are covered with balconies bursting with trees, plants, and other vegetation. the architects say that the integrated greenery system has a simple design that is easy to operate and maintain.

the chic-land hotel in da nang includes 153 rooms, ranging from standard accommodation to full apartment configurations. thanks to the greenery embedded in the façade, all rooms have pleasant views whether facing the sea or the adjacent land. in addition to improving the hotel’s aesthetics, VTN architects also says that the vegetation creates a microclimate for the building that makes its interior spaces cooler. the hotel is crowned with an infinity pool, while other facilities include a coffee house with bamboo partitions and a spacious lobby. see designboom’s previous coverage of the project here.
