“save us!” is a detergent measuring cup designed to evoke sentimental emotion that would discourage users from overusing liquid laundry detergent. The carbon dioxide emissions from production and transportation process of liquid laundry detergent along with its direct impact in water pollution create negative impact to natural environment.

In order to appeal this environmental issue effectively to major population of laundry detergent user gender group: female, the “save us!” introduces simple yet cute graphics of a polar bear family inside the detergent measuring cup. By placing the image of mother and baby polar bear on the inner wall of detergent cup, the user will be faced with dilemma whether to drown polar bear family by filling the measuring cup with more than enough amount of liquid detergent or use as little as possible to save them.
