Under the “ big green apple tree ”

As Indusial developments have a bad influence on our environments, we have been concerned about our eco-friendly environment. Therefore, eco-friendly products are developed in various filed. Especially, we focused on the children’s products and spaces.
The effective ways for protecting nature are playing, using and living with eco-friendly goods.

In this project, we create “eco- friendly playground” for children.
We want children feel like they are in the outside even if they stay inside, so we offer the fruit garden story that called “Under the big green apple tree.”
The story is a child goes to the “big green apple tree” and picks the apples under the tree and climbs the tree with friends. On the tree, they are talking, resting and playing. If he finds a nest, he could enjoy his private space.
There are three areas for the children. Those are adventure, rest, private and public communication areas.

We submit 3 images. The first (image 1), “approaching the big green apple tree”. On the way tree, they are exercising, playing and sliding through the bridge. The bridge is made of bamboos and banners.
The second (image 2), “ a classroom on the tree”. Children are climbing the tree and there they are enjoying the sunshine, studying and communication. The classroom is made of reused tires, bamboos and banners.
The third (image 3), “enjoying a nest”. If he finds a nest fortunately, he can read a book, hide from others or do just nothing. The nest is made of bamboos and banners.
The outside of the building is deigned to stimulate curiosity of children, and they can enjoy adventure by having experience with playing structures.
Another advantage is that we also make a good use of damaged part of the structure. It can be left as useless parts, but we suggest that it could be seen a good condition building.

There are many ways to preserve healthy environment, but the most important thing is that people must realize how the eco system is destroyed now and what we can do for us and nature from now on.
It is not just for the people of the certain area, it is our share to concern from small things and our children will learn from us to love and care about the environment that we have been living in.
To preserve and leave our children it, we must persevere in our efforts to develop eco friendly design system.
