vice versa by luiz moreira from brazil
designer's own words:
*Intro_It is hard to find a versatile, cheap and sustainable piece of furniture in Brazil. Vice-Versa follows these guidelines, being specifically designed for the neediest Brazilians.
*One Piece, Dozens of Combinations_The one-piece concept came from the wish of making a simple and cheap product, something able to stimulate creativity and improve self-esteem. The user has the possibility of assembling innumerous objects for different purposes and can also learn with others. This is a great way of enhancing social interaction.
*“Liquid Wood”_The module uses a material produced by Tecnaro called Arboform. The major component of it is lignin (it is second to cellulose as the most abundant natural polymer in wood), but there are also natural fibers and additives. The great advantage of Arboform is that you can give wood any shape you want through injection molding. Plus, it comes from 100% renewable resources and it is biodegradable.
*Dimensions_The piece measures 45 cm (L) x 5.55 cm (H) x 3.75 cm (D)
