[ Eco-bookmark ]

 * Concept :
- Double-leaf Eco-bookmark made with used soda can.
- In an effort to be ecological in the design process, I tried to make use of existing design elements of the reused materials as they were in their form, pattern, etc.

 * Feature :
- Adopting the features of used soda can, elasticity and rounded shape, it is developed into double leaf or double sided and bulged in the middle. In a sustainable way, it is revived into the new-features of the design.
- The cutouts are used inside out to function as eco-massage canvas to make it more aesthetically sustainable while in use.

 * Function :
1: compared in the same size with other bookmarks which are mostly flat in shape, Eco-bookmark works better to index or split the pages between the marked ones when readers open to resume reading.
3: the bookmark can be used as an eco-design itself and it also delivers eco-massage according to the pattern design on both sides at the same time.
4: Being light and resilient, it;
- it slides down inside the pages and stays in place naturally with the help of the designed form .
- it stays firmly between the marked pages with friction .
- Slightly pops up the marked pages .

*Reading books become more important as we get more forced to survive the global warming, I hope the design could contribute to recovering ecological balance on the earth.
