designer's own words:

ROOnighT is a compound word made from root - a mathematical symbol - and the noun night. Root has the meaning of dividing or multiplying. Having root as the motif and using the medium of light for a bicycle, the energy accumulated over the course of a day is distributed to people and the fun is doubled by using the light. Light is used at night - or a dark space - for cycling, increasing the level of safety. In addition, by parking bicycles in a dark space itself, the function of lighting (street lamp) is emphasized, setting off the feature of ROOnight in a dark space.

ROOnightT is a public bicycle located at public places in the heart of a city. It is lent free of charge to people who would like to use it as a means of transportation for going to and back from work or to people who visit the riverside on the weekend. It can be used at any time.

Roonight plays a role like a light with help of electric power accumulated by itself during the operation, being able to be part of safety and facilities for the public. In the meantime, we can share energy obtained from the bicycle with other people by providing power to portable products
