korea artscape by christa lenko from canada
designer's own words:
Korea Artscape is a cross between a new type of street furniture and a outdoor gallery space. It is a large touch screen board for public use found in urban areas. It is a green way for people to express themselves without defacing property or using paper. The programming allows a person to use the screen tools to draw an original work. The drawing will be exhibited for two hours then fade out.The program would disallow offensive material to be shown. In times with little activity it would show a slide show of previous drawings. The artwork could be emailed to a friend, exhibited by a larger electronic billboard across the city or be enjoyed at that moment by others in this immediate outdoor gallery.
