Designing the HERMES Tail of Stars

Following the initial design of HERMS Stellar, I felt the urge to expand upon the concept. This time, the focus would be on the motion and color of stars. Though it is extremely rare, when an old star seeds a galaxy there will be a gargantuan line following one end of the star, a beautiful tail

The HERMES Star-H pattern plays a key role in this design repeating throughout the cloth. Star-H is a group of tiny star motifs appear in different sizes and density, they appear to be twinkling and lively. The tail is graphically interpreted as vertical lines which suggesting motion, as if they are discharged from Star-H. The quality of the energy in the movement is represented by 10 different colors, each color in a single tie. The colors stand out favorably against the black silk background.
