It is 3 piece plate set made out of non-reflective stainless steel. Its form and color resembles dark silhouette of peroni beer bottle. When it is placed adjacent to the base of beer bottle, the resulting visual creates illusion of beer bottle’s shadow cast by the falling sun. The variation of three plates’ sizes replicate the change of beer bottle’s shadow in order to symbolize shift of time between the ranges of hours during which aperitivo takes place: 6pm to 8 pm. The bent end of the plate is a humorous reminder to users that what he or she is seeing is not an actual shadow but in fact is a plate. Also the bent end works as a handle for easy grip of the plate.
