This baby spoon, designed as a representation of an infinite circle, is a tribute to the endless nurturing relation between a mother and her child.
My wish was to find a way to maintain the intimacy of a basic everyday act of life, feeding following breastfeeding. The design, inspired by the image of a bird feeding her chicks, evolved into a reflection of early cultures mothers' act, while chewing food for their babies and finger pinching it to their mouth.
The baby spoon facilitates the action of feeding an infant, while in the following stages it will establish a safe, independent eating, preventing frustration due to its "correct" use any way it is held.
