It is widely discussed the priceless of time... and that it is the biggest richness we are given on the Earth.
I wanted to design an object which shows and suggests the idea of the precious time.
The Swarovski crystals turned out to be exceptionally appropriate for this purpose.
The result is an unconventional wrist - watch model "X" with a silhouette reminding an hour-sand glass.
The idea is simple - at 00:00 the watch is empty, at 01:00 a shiny beautiful crystal
rolls down into the visible empty space through a side aperture.
It remains there and at 2:00 another crystal rolls down
and that way till 12:00 when the board opens and the crystals disappear... everything starts from the beginning.
The sliding element is the side board encrusted with a crystal which makes one whole round
for an hour displaying the minutes. The mechanism is not traditional but feasible.
The wristlet is made of white leather reinforced inside which lets it stay in the position it has been left,
with a metal - magnetic clasp.
