the ‘raku’ armchair and footstool by gordon guillaumier

designed by gordon guillaumier, the ‘raku’ collection consists of an armchair and footstool, small sofa, chair, and a bench. the range’s seats and backs convey a contemporary aesthetic as they have been shaped as rounded volumes. their legs seem as if simple vertical tubes but, at a closer glance, they actually rest on the outside of the body. uniquely, the bench features a wooden armrest that divides the piece width-ways. it offers a functional element for resting things such as books, drinks or any other small items.
