Nowadays very low voltage LED lights is introduced. Therefore I design lightweight, portable, elegant lamp that combines new technologies of low voltage LED lights, solar panels and rechargeable solar powered NiCad batteries. My motive is to create a long-lasting, inexpensive, cool, safe and timeless product. The lamp shade is design to the shape of a hat, inspired from a legendary pop star, Michael Jackson. He used to dance with the cool hat at his solo album – Number Ones. I intend to use one of his iconical item, the hat as my design approach. This wireless lamp generates light without AC and solar are the only energy source. The floor and table stands serve as a support only.
