The project idea comes out of the observation of kitchen-domestic habits. Have you ever used a plate as a lid to cover a warm food, or to preserve it in the fridge? With UP&DOWN every element is double-faced, at the same time food container and lid, thanks to a simple half-sphere shaped joint and to a couple of little side handle-wings. Shallow plate, soup plate, salad bowl give rise to a series of original combinations, functional to the content. The bottom surface texture, once the plate is upside-down, become a decoration suggesting its double face.
