HYT H1.0 hydro mechanical watch places time in perpetual fluid motion

movement is the essence to swiss watches but it is unique for one to be as active, as charismatic, as alive as the wearer. the unique HYT ‘H1.0’ is just that however. traditional, top-quality, swiss-made mechanical horology is combined with innovation as the timepiece injects itself with fluid technology. the design, which debuted at SIHH 2019 in geneva, showcases a truly distinct way of telling time, one that infuses a new dimension to the art of watch-making. ‘as the intricate movement and multi-layer bellows join forces, time literally gains momentum’ for the user.

with the HYT ‘H1.0’ watch, time is in perpetual motion. the specially developed skeletionized mechnical movement is injected with a patented fluidic module. this energy, which features a visible power reserve display as well, accurately fluctuates in correlation to time. on the face, there is also a prominent wheel that indicates the flow of the seconds.

as the fluid flows around the timepiece, below the domed sapphire crystal, an architectural approach to telling time is created. from any angle, the fluid and seconds wheel correspond to the entirety of the design. for example, the steely curved case features cut-out digits embedded in the deep grooves. as the user follows the horology across the design, the measurement of time is placed in the context of the past and future.

available in silver, black or anthracite finishes, the watch also offers a choice of color for the patented fluid: bright green, blue or red. this is then complemented with a subtly patterned black rubber strap and titanium buckle.
