The design solution for “Convergence of space” was conceived and an integrated system of track mounted movable wall units. These units can be positioned to form a variety of functioning spaces. The walls are accessible from each side and house all units of different furnishing module plus storage related to the resultant space.
This is a research, looking for possibility of varieties in the space, which can be generated by the ‘walls’ as ‘moving fixture’.
The walls which move follow the track, installed in the ceiling and the floor, and have a meaning as a ‘moving fixture’ which is combined with movable structure.
The walls as ‘moving fixture’ are sliding horizontally through the rectangle tube space, and create the independent functional spaces between each others.
In this way they will make independent spaces for cooking, dining and living by the combination of the functional character of each side of the walls.
This kind of operation make the living space to react positively on every need of user, and also user can be satisfied by the whole three function at the same time, as three small entities.
Simply the users can compose there own space just with pulling and pushing the walls, and then they can create their own unique life style.
