The Mirror Lamp consists of a white translucent acrylic box filled with LED rope. It has an opening in the back face, which is covered with a perforated aluminum plate that may be removed for maintenance, as it is attached to the acrylic box by screws. The plate also holds a pair of 5cm wide suction cups that will stick the Lamp securely onto any slick, non-porous surface, such as mirrors, glass windows, polished tiles, etc., allowing it to be mounted on unexpected (ou non-conventional) places. Although the Mirror Lamp looks like an opaque monolith when it’s off, its lighting effect is surprising - a mazy composition of light and shade that varies according to how the rope is organized inside the box.
