clover chair

clover chair by vincent notaerts from belgium

designer's own words:

When observing teenagers, I noticed that they don't stay for a long time in the same position. They sit down, stretch out and move continually. To me, there seems to be a need to create something just a playful that can adapt to their needs.

Sitting down, the teenager will become a part of the bent ash structure. The structure itself is covered with an elastic fabric. When the teenager sit or stretch out on the chair, the fabric will take the form of their body, supported by the wooden structure. Once they leave the chair, the cloth take its initial form.
