MYspace by andrzej pytel from australia
designer's own words:
‘MYspace’ transformable furniture: from a funky lounge-chair it unfolds to a comfy bed and, on its side, it becomes a barrier behind which the teenager can hide away.
Used as a separating wall, ‘MYspace’ creates a room within a room acting as a surface onto which one can spray-paint, apply stickers and personalise their space.
Some of the gadgets include secret drawers for storing things, a built-in entertainment unit with speakers and a special stand that attaches a plasma television to the foot of the unit.
This multi-functional piece has been designed to suit teenagers’ mood changes, their needs to isolate from society and express their creativity.
