If you were to dress your furniture like a teenager, it would likely look like Tipz. It is youthful in spirit, simple and functional design, and sexy and sophisticated in appearance.

Tipz is made up of seven tubes and a belt. Using these elements, one can arrange them in a wide variety of configurations. Tipz can become a sofa cushion, a chaise lounge, or a variety of different sitting units. Double the number of tubes and you double the possibilities.

This project was inspired by traditional Arabic furniture. I set out to apply a modern twist on a traditional piece of furniture, and Tipz is the result.

It is made of very high-density foam tubes that are upholstered. The belt buckle can be made using simple metal fabrication technology.
