The “Stratos Six” chair will be manufactured as a polycarbonate one-piece seat and back. The six red cushions will be made of foamed polyurethane. The six red cushions will fit into a recess in the molded back and seat of the chair. This will create a soft cushioning feeling to the person sitting in the chair. The legs and structure will be made of painted steel. The idea was to create a fusion of a rigid surface and a soft surface in a chair.
