designer's own words:
Teenagers are all about defining and communicating their own individual personalities. Products that aid them in doing this tend to have more appeal.
For many teenagers their music collection is an expression of their own personalities and what they are into. This product aims to make a feature out of this.
The design comes from observing how people, namely teenagers, interact with their cd collections. The most frequently played disks are often to be found piled up, out of their cases, near the hi-fi. My design gives you access to your cd's with the minimum amount of fuss, while at the same time producing an interesting wall display of your personal tastes in music. You simply pull of a cd from the foam and aluminium strip and play! The stips are fixed to the wall using low tack tabs and can be positioned in a number of ways. Because the disks are held vertically they do not attract dust.
Enclosed are two versions of the design.
