My teenage years are not so far behind me (just 2 years) and if I think back of this period in time there was one big thing that made me tick. I think that there was one thing that made us all tick when we were teenagers. The eager to be accepted and to belong to a group, the popalarity poll has never been bigger then on junior college. One does confirm his or hers position by their behaviour and with this behaviour and lifestyle certain objects are involved. Cool clothing, a stylish scooter or bike, etc. these objects can help you get a step higher on the popularity ladder. A thing that seems to be as important as your life in the teenager years. So why not create the wet-dream of furniture for the teenager, a object that shrieks desire! Combine the design with a activity many teenagers nowadays keep up for many hours, playing games and working on the computer. With the ARC c-h-a-i-r I hope to have embodied this, a design that stands out and enables a sublime computer experience through the incorparation of 5 speakers in the chair. Let this be the inflatable chair (the one every teenager had to have in their room) for the teenagers of 2005.
