The Design

Still lots of used batteries polute the environment. They end up in jars, drawers or the garbage but seldom at the Recycle Center.

With The Battery Collector these times can change.

People have to change their attitude towards recyling used batteries.
By using an actual collector, a "Learning by Doing"-environment is created. Collecting batteries will become a consious action instead of a random act of recyling.

Designed in various shapes, sizes and colors, The Battery Collector is the perfect tool to acomplish this goal.

Possible appilications:
a. Making The Battery Collector available in shops.
The earnings can be used for education about recycling.
b. Making The Battery Collector available through a
Government campaign in which the Recycle Center replace a full collector for a new one.

Special application:
In many third world countries people re-use their batteries by warming them in the sun. The sunheat vitalizes the batteries for a short period of time. A special Battery Collector, in the color black for extra absorbsion of the heat, can help people to get the most out of their batteries. Furthermore it can stimulate the retrival of used batteries.

With a welfare campaign the special Battery Collector can be distributed where needed.
