We believe that the biggest problem in the kitchen is the lack of counter space.
When the counter top is covered by clutter no one is inspired to cook.
By adding easy access storage in places that are not typically used we can free up precious counter space, and make the kitchen a more inviting place to work.

Metamorphosis replaces cabinet doors with gossamer wings made of light nylon mesh stretched over tubular aluminum frames. The bottom corner of the frame is exposed and curves out to form an integrated handle. Multifunctional pockets allow transparent storage within easy reach. Breathable mesh allows air circulation for storage of fruits and vegetables. The mesh can be removed for easy washing.

Options include a cutting board that snaps into place on the frame which, when removed for use, creates a window and allows quick access to needed tools stored in the cupboard when in the cooking mode. Additional options can include an integrated spice rack, integrated strainer, universal pocket for utensils and unusually shaped objects, removable mat/work surface, and removable pockets that can be attached to an apron with contents intact.

Under the cabinet storage optimizes rarely used "dead space". A steel frame with the same mesh stretched over it forms a cocoon that keeps objects securely in place while allowing easy access. An angled shape ensures that the contents don’t roll out accidentally. This unique storage can accommodate anything from a bottle with cooking oil to fruits and vegetables or utensils. It can also be removed for easy washing.

Hanging Basket utilizes the ceiling above the work area in the kitchen for even more storage.
It draws up into the ceiling recess where it rests flush with the ceiling surface. A pulley system hidden above the ceiling lowers the basket to rest on the counter, or is easily locked in place to keep the basket suspended at any height. When hung up above the dinner table, it can be used as a centerpiece or a bread basket that is swung from guest to guest around the table.
It reinforces the ritual of food sharing and makes food preparation fun.
