designer's own words:

Inspired by the facets that shape cut crystal, this tapered pyramid shape is repeated and rotated to form a circular pattern. Extensive use of the round crystals forms a concentric pattern in complements with the faceted triangular form. This tile and its crystalline pattern would be flattered by dramatic lighting, displaying strong shadows, brightened by sparkling crystals. Two types of crystal have been used, large crystal circles, adhered on the flat side and round crystal inserts with a metal band. The crystals are inserted once the tiles have been laid which allows for personalisation of colour and pattern. Facet is a ceramic tile with a gloss or matte glaze and could be produced in a multitude of colours. The one tile pattern makes it cost effective to manufacture and simple to install. The dimensions are 238mm x 125mm x 25mm.
