What is it to make faces out of clouds, or see mythological beasts roaming in the heavens?

What struck me about looking at the Swarovski crystals, is how something man made can resemble nature so perfectly….. I began thinking about how before technology, man was content staring up at the stars on a clear night, and how animals and symbols found around him have become part of our cultural heritage. ….our idea is a simple one, black ceramic or stone tiles with a mythological animal (the stag) spelt out in pin pricks of light. The viewer’s eye joins in the dots to form the image presented and if not immediately apparent then after some quiet contemplation understands its meaning. The half ball crystals @ 13mm wide x 8mm deep, are inset flush into holes drilled into the tiles making it ideal for reception areas, lobby’s bathrooms and even outdoor applications. Sold in standard set sizes ranging from 2m x 4m, 2,5m x 5m and 3m x 6m wide with blank tiles available for run on walls. We expect that a standard tile size of 330mmx330mm by 10mm thickness would be ideal even for use on floors where an architectural feature could be made with custom lighting with a dedicated ceiling used as a projection screen fro the refracted light.

That was the mythology and now here is the science: we found that a single light source, either sunlight or electric light is reflected and multiplied by the number of facet of each crystal. This is then reflected by the rear coating and projected onto walls, floor, ceilings and persons passing in front of the tiles. The sculpted facets of a single tile arranged in any configuration positions the crystals at random and produce a spectrum of colours and mini galaxies of stars bouncing off anything and everything in its path. Surely this is the stuff that dreams are made from…..
