The design concept is based on our FUTURISTIC CRAFTSMANSHIP technique.
A signature idea of our WEARABLE ART moto.
This time is inspired by flowers.
I take close up photographs of flowers and then I use film projection to project them at the top of many layers of scarves and textures. It is an experimental approach that combine a hybrid method of our perforated scarves and clothes to create a new visual experience.
After the completion of the image we print those images with a very unique technique in Niigata Japan. First, we print with inkjet technique on the vertical thread (cotton) and then the horizontal thread (linen-silk-modal) is weaved into the fabric. The result has a hand touch (impressionist) painted feeling through the utility of a high technology machine.
Our moto is WEARABLE ART.
We make clothing that is inspired by art and transform into scarves and stoles. We use only Japanese textiles and especially high technology techniques with a natural touch and finish. That's why we are looking always for the balance between two opposite directions.
In this project we use our original flower designs to make new textiles and in return to make our clothing / scarves.
Our mission is to create beauty and make people happy wearing our WEARABLE ART.
WEAR BETTER-FEEL BETTER-THINK BETTER-ACT BETTER.
To achieve that we work with passion to continue the innovated cultural heritage of the Japanese textile industry.
