nendo has created a glass bottle covered with ripples to express the liveliness of fresh spring water. the studio designed the bottle for i-lohas — a coca-cola owned mineral water brand in japan, which utilises high quality water sources found in the country.

nendo‘s design combines practicality, featuring an anti-slip surface, with a minimalist aesthetic which expresses the purity of the water. the product is printed in white ink and arranged vertically, taking into consideration the environmental impact compared to multi coloured printing.

when placed on a table, the 300ml glass bottle stands out only for its bright green cap and unusual form. to increase touch points with the consumers, a dedicated glass using the same texture as the bottle, and a coaster with a ripple pattern was also designed.
