austrian inflatable tent specialist gentletent has created an innovative pop-up bike camper allowing cyclists to pitch up on the go. the compact bike trailer, dubbed b-turtle, inflates within minutes to create a cozy two-person shelter.

the b-turtle comprises an inflatable tent fixed on top of an aluminum frame that’s wrapped up in a protective cover. an integrated transport tray is located in the belly of the wheel trailer with about 120 liters capacity for keeping the safe the bare necessities.
once pitched the the b-turtle’s dimensions stand at 83 x 51-in (210 x 130-cm) with a two-person air-filled sleeping platform that reaches 28 inches above the ground. the trailer is fixed using guy-lines, pegs and supporting legs. the airtent is equipped with a window on the rear wall and two window openings with mosquito nets on the sides.
the tent can be taken down in 10 minutes and in ride mode, attaches to the bike via a drawbar with weber coupling. the b-turtle launched will be available this summer and is priced at €2,990 (approx. US$3,500). this includes the trailer, tent, guy-lines, stakes, repair kit and hand pump.
