compared to the AMG GT roadster, the AMG GT S roadster is rendered even more dynamic by numerous modifications to the engine, suspension, brakes, design and interior. it has a top speed of 316 km/h and can reach 0-60 mph (1-100 km) in 3.7 seconds.

the GT S and GT C are visually very similar with the only real difference being that the GT S uses mercedes’ ‘artico/dynamica’ leather rather than the standard nappa leather seats in the GT C. ceramic composite brakes are optional with brake discs in size 402 x 39 mm at the front axle and 360 x 22 mm at the rear, together with specially painted brake callipers with ‘AMG carbon ceramic’ lettering. as standard the AMG GT S roadster is shod with mixed tyres on 19-inch rims at the front and 20-inch rims at the rear.

the soft top is a triple-layer fabric supported by a magnesium, steel, and aluminum frame. this helps keep the vehicle’s centre of gravity low with additional roll-over protection privided by an integrated aluminium cross-member.
