japanese designer mikiya kobayashi’s donut stool is a simple yet attractive object made of a circle of soft foam. the piece is a great fit for both indoor and outdoor and brings some fun and color to the contemporary monochromatic spaces.

the gathers that appear on the material that covers the seat underline the similarities with the doughnut reference. the fabric that is made specifically for outdoor use — it’s very resistant to different weather conditions and can be removed for washing. designed for outdoor furniture brand diabla, kobayashi’s stool can be used indoors or outdoors without any distinction.

donut is available in many colors, some highly vivid ones like red, pink or mustard.
