hamanishi design's mobile othello lamp to be revealed at milan design week

japanese creative studio hamanishi design presents its new ‘othello’ lamp, a mobile and rechargeable light. with a shape inspired by the cognominal table game also know as ‘reversi’, the lamp is made of acrylic and PET felt.

hamanishi design offers the lamp in six colors with a fine brown strap to carry and hang it. othello can serve as a table or wall lamp or even a lantern providing light of different saturation depending on which side is facing the interior. the studio will exhibit its work at salone satellite during milan design week 2018.
