developed in partnership with NORR architects & engineers, RPBW’s design seeks to maximize exterior public space by improving the building’s adjacent streetscape. in turn, this helps strengthen the relationship between the courthouse and the city. a main feature of the scheme is a 20 meter-tall atrium enclosed by a highly transparent glazed façade. RPBW, NORR, and construction firm EllisDon were selected to complete the project by infrastructure ontario and the ministry of the attorney general. the project is on track to complete by 2022.
