Joppari by PaulaRodriguez from colombia
designer's own words:
The Joppari project was born from a research carried out in a creativity course at the University of the Andes of the apples, culture and life in Hirosaki. Subsequently, we related a narrative that gave way to an individual question. Moreover, in the research I did on the apples that are produced in Hirosaki, Japan, I discovered a huge diversity of 65 different types. Each apple has aromas, textures, sizes, flavors and unique shines, which make them a very desired element for their heterogeneity and quality of the different experiences that each one can give.
On the other hand, my question was about generating an experience through the interaction with all the apples without excluding any, and then I generated 20 different proposals for it.
Furthermore, I used tools like brainstorming and SCAMPER, so I assumed it as a social design according to my personal inspirations about respect and tolerance towards all. For this reason, I had the idea of making an analogy with one of my main interests as a designer and it is the inclusion of the diversity of all human groups, just as it happens in the world of apples. I finally chose several proposals to unite them and then I came to the idea of Joppari as a campaign for the inclusion of the world diversity.
