designboom’s cuban friend ernesto oroza is currently exhibiting works in the ‘statement of necessity’ exhibition, held at alonso art gallery, miami. featured in the exhibition are a series of color photos depicting architecture in cuba. the photos show how cuban people have used their own resources to transform houses, both public and private to adapt them to new necessities, this includes simple placements of fences to define and protect property limits. a book will also be published in conjuction with the exhibition.
