SPOP CAMPUS OMODEO: 'what we do with empty villages' examines sardinia's depopulation crisis

interdisciplinary design collective sardarch specializes in the urban transformation of neighborhoods by proposing various strategies with the active participation of surrounding communities. the public art SPOP project is an open platform of civic collaboration to redesign the abandoned and empty villages around the omodeo lake district in sardinia in collaboration with fondazione di sardegna, comune di nughedu santa vittoria, nughedu welcome and desislab elisava design school.
