the land rover ‘90’ custom ‘nardo grey’ by portugal-based , coolnvintage, keeps the iconic form while enhancing its styling and practicality. the vehicle was originally sourced from a 2002 ‘defender‘ and now has an air of timelessness with its reliable mechanics and clean, polished aesthetic. the garage completely stripped the vehicle down to its bare bones, offering it a new lease of life by restoring the few parts that were worn, and cleaning all of the components that were still in working condition. the ‘nardo’ was then finished in striking ‘light grey’ paint, blending perfectly with almost any backdrop. the original front grille is now replaced with a matte black number that complements the new paintwork.

complementing its timeless aesthetic, the ‘nardo grey’s’ interior was also stripped of all plastic componentry in favour of a stripped-back look, with water and UV resistant seats built to resist sand and salty water. a new soft-top roof with roll-up covers protects passengers from the elements, while it can be opened allowing the ocean breeze to circulate freely through the cabin.
